In 1947, J. Majer was a rough and finished carpenter building houses in Skokie for several years. During the 1960’s, he built garages and remodeled homes. After tiring of working with the other trades, and spending weeks on one job, Mr. Majer concentrated on Glass and Windows. Glass replacement and window installation is known, and practiced throughout the industry. Mr. Majer developed methods for repairing glass sliding doors known only to Glenbrook Patio Door, that have restored and preserved doors for years and has saved customers the expense of complete replacement. The staff at Glenbrook Patio Door continues to successfully implement and develop the ideas from our founder that have stood the test of time for thousands of satisfied customers!
